Hello, this is the voicemail of Hank Pym. I check my messages every day at 9PM. If I don't get back to you in an hour, please don't come knocking. I promise I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
You can guess whose powers probably DON'T WORK near the Porter. And if they DO work, well- that's a whole new ball game, isn't it? One with less bats and more reality warping shenanigans.
[ and possible "bad end" shenanigans were also a thought, but he leaves that out. ]
Call it less jealous and more I think it may be a trap. Possibly an unintentional trap, but possibly not. There are lots of possiblys here, aren't there? Tony's already been alerted, but let's just say I like when there's backup.
Some from column A some from column B. If it's one of those IT'S A TRAP thingies we'll be at a lack of dragging a very powerless/powerful (let me STRESS the DUALITY here) Wiccan out of the grasp of the government.
[ he's actually a little concerned that they picked him at all. ]
Not just for Billy's sake- we know what he's capable of if the Porter doesn't turn off those abilities of his.
[ they really don't need another mother right now. ]
Have you ever felt unsatisfied by the bad end of a choose your own adventure story, Hank Pym? Think like that but maybe lots of dying.
That said- those are all answers to questions you've had, aren't they?
[ Does he really trust Loki's intention with this? Not really; old habits. And if Kate or Billy himself hasn't reached out, he holds on to his doubts. As it should when your only source is Loki.
It doesn't mean he can't give advice. ]
I would suggest we call the bodies available to us and hold a meeting, then proceed to come up with a with plan that has Billy's safety as priority in mind. I like the rush of being called up spontaneously and all but if it's what you think it could be, then you need to do more on security detail than just calling for backup. Unless you have that already?
TEXT. Dated back to 7/8, probably at like 9:03 p.m.

Oh, I always have a back-up, but I like my back-ups to have back-ups and you seemed to fit the bill.
[ it's surprisingly honest. ]
